Caroline Buendia was born in Mexico but raised is sunny California, she's a Rock N Roll fanatic, a booknerd, a Dreamer and a writer in every sense of the word. In 2019, she graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s in Television, Film and Media Studies. Shortly after, she received an internship with the Television Academy Foundation, which led her to work as a coordinator in Endemol Shine North America. There she worked for Cholawood Productions (Kate Del Castillo, Jessica Maldonado and Carmen Cervantes). And later she worked as a coordinator on the project Como Agua Para Chocolate (MAX).

 

Her writing encompasses many different forms. In 2020, two of her poems were published in the poetry book The Latinx Poetry Project by Alegria Magazine. In 2022, she was a semi-finalist in the DGE Writing Program and a quarter-finalist in the ScreenCraft Horror Competition. In February 2023, her short story El Atrapador was published in Pinguica Magazine. Most recently she wrote a short film titled "Ahora Que Ella No Esta" which was inspired by her true story, it was produced in Mexico and entered two festivals.​

She has published poetry, a novel and is currently tackling journalism as a tool to inform and help her immigrant community during these hard times in the United States. On her free time, she attends protests, rock concerts and is currently mastering the drums. Concert tbd.
